The Hub offers the following Beach Volleyball courses
LEVEL 1: BEGINNERS
This course is for people who never played before or played without attending any volleyball or beach volleyball course.
What Does It Mean to Be a Beginner Beach Volleyball Player?
A beginner beach volleyball player is someone who’s just starting their journey on the sand! At this level, players are learning the basics like proper footwork, bumping, setting, and getting the ball over the net.
Beginners are focusing on improving their ball control, understanding court positioning, and getting comfortable playing with a partner. It’s all about building confidence, practicing consistent serves, and starting to develop game awareness. Whether it’s your first tournament or your first game at the beach, this is the stage where the love for the sport begins to take hold and the foundation for future skills is built!
This course is designed to teach, or refine, basic fundamental volleyball skills: passing, setting, attacking, and serving. Using more courts, if necessary, players are grouped according to their skill level. Skill mastery is accomplished through skill progressions, coach feedback, and volleyball drills. Volleyball drills are used to enhance various performance factors such as ball control, footwork, and timing on approach jumps or blocks.
LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE
This course is for people who already attended a volleyball or beach volleyball course and want to correct, or improve, their technique and develop tactical play.
What Does It Mean to Be an Intermediate Beach Volleyball Player?
An intermediate beach volleyball player has moved beyond the basics and is developing solid game techniques. At this stage, they have a good grasp of the core skills: bump, set, spike, and serve. They’re able to read the game better, react faster, and adjust their strategies based on their opponent’s strengths and weaknesses.
These players are competing at a AA/Competitive level whether it’s on the ATABT or at club-level competitions, where they’re honing their consistency. They’re learning to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively with their partner, and use more advanced techniques like controlled shots and effective defensive positioning.
This course is designed to refine basic fundamental volleyball skills: passing, setting, attacking, and serving and increase tactical awareness.
LEVEL 3: ADVANCED
This course is for people who already play beach volleyball at a medium/high level and want to improve their technique, confidence and particularly tactic. This course is designed to set a different sight of the game, understand the opponent team and find the right tactic to win the match using all the skills and the environmental conditions. It is important to have a good physical shape, enthusiasm and a strong leaning at working (in sports terms).
LEVEL 4: TEAM TRAINING (all levels)
This course is for people at a medium to high level who want to improve their technique, confidence, tactic and feeling in the team. This course is designed to set a tactic in the team and to make you able to play with the goal of winning tournaments. It is important to have a good physical shape, enthusiasm and a strong leaning at working (in sports terms).
It is compulsory training as a team, so if you haven’t got a partner just let us know, and we will try to find you someone to play with.
Each workout will be subdivided in 15/20 minutes of warm-up, 1 hour of exercises and 15 minutes of game, to put into practice what you learnt during the lesson. Obviously, it is not supposed to be able to teach you everything about beach volleyball in a few weeks, but you can learn the whole basis. Improving means working/playing as much as possible applying what you learn in the workout.
JUNIORS COURSE (Beginner Level)

This course is designed to teach, or refine, basic fundamental volleyball skills: passing, setting, attacking, and serving. Volleyball drills are used to set up properly all the fundamentals and enhance the players confidence in touching and controlling the ball. Players understand the importance of training with purpose.
