The Hub’s Junior Beach Volleyball League

The Hub's Junior Beach Volleyball League is back for 2025 - Registrations closed!

After a successful inaugural season in 2024, the Hub’s Junior Beach Volleyball League is back. The intention of the league is to assist with the transitioning of players from Indoor to Outdoor leading into the VWA State Team Trials for the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships. This League will be a 5 week tournament including finals on week 5.

Can my child participate?

Yes!. The league will feature multiple age categories (numbers depending):

Under 15
Under 16
Under 17
Under 18

All athletes are required to hold a VWA Gold Membership or higher.

What is involved?

Athletes will play in two games every Sunday for the entirety of the league’s season. In addition to their own games, each team will also be required for duties. This schedule ensures a robust and comprehensive participation experience, fostering teamwork and community involvement throughout the league.

When does the League Start and Finish?

The Hub’s Junior Beach Volleyball League will commence on Sunday October 5th 2025. Finals will be held on Saturday 15 November 2025. Full list of dates/days displayed in the Competition Format section below.

How much does it cost?

Cost Per Team $120
Minimum 10 games over the league season.

What else is included?

All players enrolled in the League will be also be eligible for a 3 day FREE transition course to beheld on 1st, 3rd and 6th October, 5:00pm – 6:30pm.

What is the competition format?

Dates:
Sunday 5, 12, 26 October
Saturday 8 November
Finals 15 November

Format:

Under 15 – Pairs or Three’s.
Under 16, 17 ,18 – Pairs.
2 games each competition day.

Coaching:
Parents may not coach or offer instruction to their child or another team member unless their name is on the scoresheet before the commencement of play. Only 1 parent may have their name on the scoresheet.
